Great helmet! 0 people found this helpfulAwesome helmet, looks the part. Feels the part. Good sizing and comfortable to wear, only issue for me personally is that the chin strap is On the thin side so can be uncomfortable with no padding.

First Helmet Love it!!!! 0 people found this helpfulI just received this Helmet and I had my reserves as I open the packaging. Once I got the helmet out I could feel the quality. Its is very well made a solid design and an excellent option in helmets. I am very happy I selected this one. The straps are strong and solid to the helmet. The only thing is the lining is not so solid attached. It started coming out so I will pull it out and replace it. But even with the liner coming out that does not diminish the quality of the Helmet by any means it doesn't even bother me in the slightest I will be making many more purchases from this company!!!!!

Helmet This helmet is one of the most iconic ones of the medieval period so its kind of a must have. The helmet came with a film of oil but once I had cleaned that off I put the helmet on. I went for the medium size and it fits very well. The chin strap is made of good, soft leather and will hold the helmet on your head with ease. Unfortunately there were alot of black flakes inside the helmet, I am not sure what from and the leather lining is not very thick. Southern Swords As always with Southern Swords I was very impressed. The service was fast and professional and greatly outstripped larger companies in terms of customer service. My only slight criticism is that the website as a whole could use some more pictures of the items for sale, but other than that Southern Swords is a fantastic and reliable company. I will certainly be placing more orders.
