This reproduction of an English Civil War Lobster Tail Pot Helmet with face guardt is made of hand-forged A-36 16 gauge mild steel.
This metallurgical composition provides excellent resilience, durability and will polish to high sheen. The interior of the helmet is blackened and integrated within the dome of the helm is an adjustable leather suspension liner. The leather chin strap keeps the helm secured to the head and can be adjusted to fit with an antiqued buckle.
